Personality Traits of Petite Women

Hello, my petites.

First of all, let me tell you that I’m not a psychologist, a therapist or anything in between, but I love reading a lot about the human behavior and I like “reading” people. I don’t know if there really is something special about petite women, but I have many small-sized girlfriends and all of them share some common personality traits. One of them is their power. Petite women are powerful. Their big personality compensates their short stature. In the past, being tall has been associated with power, intelligence, and strengths, but believing that being tall gives you more power or energy is just an illusion. I have also noticed other personality traits I want to share with you. Please, tell me if I am right or not in the comment section.

Ambition – I can relate to this because I am myself and have always been ambitious. Petite women always get what they want, and this is again compensation for their lack of stature. You will never hear a petite woman saying “I can’t do this, I can’t do that.” No, they struggle until they get what they want.

Empathy – because short women tend to fight with their insecurities related to their height, they seem to have this extraordinary ability to detect others’ emotions and truly understand them. Besides being a fantastic personality trait that bring a lot of happiness, empathy can be exhausting, this is why petite women tend to be highly sensitive, which is another personality trait.

Humor – short women are fun. When you are short, you are always teased, and people make fun of you. Ugh, I have been called a midget or a smurf for so many times and I remember being so sad and mad about it. This is why, petite women prefer to tell the jokes firsts and it’s fun being around a petite woman.

Yes, height is an elementary attribute and influences one’s personality and, to a certain point, their mental health. But, in the end, what really matters is LOVING yourself as you are. When you accept yourself and you are content with who you are nothing else matters.

This article reflects my own beliefs and experiences.
